Once you have published your SnapKast podcast RSS feed to a server on the Internet you may submit your podcast URL to the iTunes Store. The actual content still resides on the server where you published it. iTunes Store simply provides another channel for your audience to find and access your content. The page illustrates how to search for SnapKast content in iTunes Store how to submit your podcasts for others to access.
Launch iTunes on your computer and go into the iTunes Store. This link should launch iTunes Store on your computer. Next, type your search into the Search iTunes Store area on the top right of your iTunes window and hit Enter. For example, if you enter WPHS Chemistry, you will see several High School Chemistry SnapKast podcasts.
It's very simple to submit your SnapKast podcast URLs to iTunes Store.
You must first publish your SnapKast RSS feed folder to a server on the Internet, e.g. a web server at your school or business, or on the server at a hosting service. You will use the Video HTTP URL address on the podcast web page that is created by SnapKast (more on this later).
You need a user account in iTunes Store. Here are instructions to setup an iTunes account.
In the left navigation column, under iTunes Store, click on the Podcasts link to go to the Podcasts page.
In the left column of the Podcasts page, in the Learn More box at the bottom, click on the Submit a Podcast link.
Follow the instructions on the Submit a Podcast page. In the
Podcast Feed URL box please enter the URL associated
with the Video HTTP image on the SnapKast created
podcast page that you published to your content server. For example, on
this
page right-click on the
button under the Video Feeds section near the bottom half of
the page and copy/paste the associated URL into the
Podcast Feed URL region. The URL will look something like
http://snapkast.com/podcasts/Sample_SnapKast_Sessions/snapkast-album-samples-video.xml.
